India’s fiery pacer Mohammed Siraj delivered a dream delivery to send Brandon King back to the pavilion early in the morning session on Day 1 of the ongoing first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday (September 2).
Brandon King had started confidently with three crisp boundaries in his 13 off 15 balls and was looking settled at the crease, but Mohammed Siraj had other plans. Charging in with his trademark energy, Siraj unleashed a sharp inswinger that cut back in fiercely.
Mohammed Siraj’s dream delivery destroys Brandon King’s stumps
Siraj had already sent two big inswingers in the previous deliveries. Both had jagged backs sharply, hinting at the movement on offer. Despite that warning, King failed to make the right call.

Surprisingly, Brendon King decided to leave the ball, expecting it to sail past the stumps. Instead, it sneaked through the gap between bat and pad. It crashed straight into the middle stump with enough force to send it flying behind the wicketkeeper.
Siraj burst into his trademark Ronaldo-style celebration, leaping and spinning with arms outstretched.
On the other hand, King could only shake his head and walk back disappointed, as his misjudgment proved costly for the West Indies, leaving them in early trouble.
