The brotherly love was there for all to see when Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya came face to face on the field during the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday (April 7).
When RCB batted first in the game, Krunal Pandya did not get the chance to bat. As a result, he and his younger brother did not face each other during the first innings of the game. However, they were face to face when Hardik Pandya came out to bat in the second innings of the match.
The Mumbai Indians skipper walked out to bat with his team in a precarious situation. Chasing a huge total of 222 runs, the hosts were reeling at 97 for 4 after 12 overs. Even though there was tension in the air, the Pandya brothers managed to share a laugh.
It all began when Hardik Pandya entered the field walking with his usual swagger. Krunal Pandya noticed it and decided to have some fun as he tried to mimic his younger brother’s walk. Both the brothers then shared a laugh before walking away.

Meanwhile, Hardik started his innings in style, hitting Josh Hazlewood for two sixes and as many fours on his first four deliveries. In the 15th over, Hardik took his elder brother Krunal to the cleaners, hitting him for two sixes in a row.
At the time of writing this report, Mumbai Indians were on 170/4 after 16 overs and needed 52 runs in the last four overs. Hardik was batting on 34 runs off just 10 balls while Tilak Varma was unbeaten on 46 runs off 23 balls.
Earlier in the game, RCB finished their innings on 221/5. Virat Kohli laid the foundation for the big total with a composed knock of 67 runs. Rajat Patidar then smashed 64 runs off just 32 balls while Jitesh Sharma remained unbeaten on 40 off 19 balls as RCB posted a 220-plus total.
