Fans will have their first chance to secure seats for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 when ticket sales officially open on December 11 at 6.45 pm IST. In a major step towards making the tournament more accessible, the ICC has announced entry-level prices as low as ₹100 for matches in India and LKR 1000 for games in Sri Lanka.

It is the same platform that also helped fans buy the tickets at the Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. However, in that tournament, many fans questioned the ticket-buying process and lack of support from the ICC. Hope no fan faces anything like that come the February.
The tenth edition of the T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will run from February 7 to March 8 and feature matches across eight venues. With more than two million tickets available in Phase I alone, the ICC is banking on affordability to draw larger, more diverse crowds into stadiums.
The tournament opens in Colombo with Pakistan facing the Netherlands, before the action shifts to Kolkata for West Indies vs Bangladesh. India begin their campaign with a marquee clash against the USA at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. All three early fixtures are expected to attract heavy demand as fans rush to secure the first batch of tickets.
