A total of 549 players have been shortlisted for the 2026 SA20 auction. All won’t go under the hammer, and only 84 will find a spot in one of the six teams. The process will start with three sets of marquee players like Aiden Markram, Dewald Brevis, Kwena Maphaka, Anrich Nortje, Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Keshav Maharaj, Tabraiz Shamsi, Ottneil Baartman, Gerald Coetzee, Kyle Verreynne, David Bedingham, Wiaan Mulder, Lungi Ngidi, and Tony de Zorzi.
