PBKS vs RR, IPL 2025: Punjab Kings suffered their fifth straight loss at home in a humbling loss to the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday. Shreyas Iyer’s decision to chase in Mullanpur did not reap the dividends he hoped for, with a 50-run loss.
Chasing 204 to win, Punjab Kings got off to the worst possible start with Jofra Archer castling Priyansh Arya with the very first ball. The Englishman then got the in-form Shreyas Iyer to peg the hosts further. The Kings soon slipped to 43-4 just after the powerplay.
Nehal Wadhera and Glenn Maxwell put in some fightback in a counter-attacking display.
