RR wicket-keeper and skipper Sanju Samson hasn’t attained full fitness, and is ruled out of the IPL 2025 clash vs GT. The struggling team will be sans one of their best batters and also a seasoned leader at a time when the team is struggling to get wins under their belt.

Sanju Samson Still Unfit

As per a report in MyKhel, Sanju Samson is yet to recover from the abdominal tear. Meanwhile, the report also said that he has been training with the team, but then won’t play the next match. For the unversed, the injury had happened during the DC vs RR match on April 16, and had even retired hurt while batting on 31 runs.

Rajasthan Royals in Doldrums

Prior to this, in seven matches, he has scored 224 runs at an average of 37 and even 140. In fact, in the first three encounters, he had batted just as a batter, while recovering from a finger injury. As far as the points table is concerned, RR is on the ninth spot for now, having won only two matches in 9. Their NRR stands at -0.625.
