Kohli has become the first batter to score 8500 runs in IPL history. He also has the most sixes at a single venue in T20 history. As Kohli hit Anshul Kamboj for a six in the RCB vs CSK clash, he surpassed Chris Gayle. Kohli has hit 153 sixes at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, two more than Gayle.
However, that’s not all. Kohli also smashed his 300th six for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. This is the first time in history that a batter has hit 300 or more sixes for a single team. Kohli, who made his debut for RCB back in 2008, now has 303 sixes in IPL and Champions League T20 combined. In IPL, Kohli has smashed 289 sixes. Only Rohit Sharma (297) and Gayle (357) are ahead of him.
