It’s confirmed. Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (PCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final on Tuesday. PBKS beat the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 5 wickets and with 6 balls to spare in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium to book their spot in the final. The ultimate clash will take place at the same venue on June 3 at 7.30 PM.

Shreyas Iyer played a captain’s knock in Ahmedabad and hit the winning blow in the penultimate over to seal the match for PBKS. It’s just the second time they have reached an IPL final, having done so in 2014. Shreyas might also become the first captain to win IPL trophies with two different teams, having lifted the cup with Kolkata Knight Riders last year.

RCB eye maiden IPL title

Despite making it to the playoffs on many occasions, RCB have never managed to lift the coveted trophy in 18 years.
