GT and MI have been two teams in IPL 2025, who have been excellent. Mumbai have won their last six, and then Gujarat have been the most consistent team. But having said that, since the qualification for Gujarat into the playoffs is still not done, they cannot take it easy. Instead they should be focusing on getting an XI for the match vs MI, that is just the best.

Shahrukh Khan & Rahul Tewatia Not Needed
Shahrukh Khan has scored 84 runs in 10 matches, while Rahul Tewatia has scored 56 in as many matches. Now, with the qualification so close, time has come for the team to look beyond them. There is Mahipal Lomror in the team, who can be devastating with the bat, and also Dasun Shanaka, who can use the long handle. At least, they would be raring to go.
Lomror, for the record, had a decent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he went on to score 146 runs in 7 matches, at an average of 36, and at a strike-rate of 141. This year he is yet to play a match.
Kagiso Rabada Back, Coetzee Goes Out
Gerald Coetzee played his first match for GT in their last outing. But then he might lose his spot to countryman Rabada, who has completed his ban, and is back with the team. This year, he played two matches and has as many wickets. Although he wasn’t at his best in those matches, but he is still the quickest bowler to 100 wickets in the IPL. So deserves a look in.
