After the Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces in the wee hours of Wednesday, now two cricket associations in country have received bomb threats through email. As per various reports, the Cricket Association of Bengal and Gujarat Cricket Association are on the terror list.

CAB Get Bomb Threat During KKR vs CSK

It is believed that the CAB received the mail during the ongoing KKR vs CSK encounter itself. While on the other hand, Ahmedabad Stadium could be on the radar for GT’s May 11 match. As a precautionary measure, the security of both these stadiums has been increased, and the police is investigating the matter.

Measures Taken by BCCI

Meanwhile, the GCA received a mail from a Pakistani national. “We will blast your stadium”, the email read from an ID named ‘Pakistan JK’. The BCCI has already moved its Dharamsala matches to other venues — PBKS vs MI on May 11 will now be played in Mumbai, and the May 8 encounter vs DC could also be moved.

Having said that, there is no confirmation on the same. The Chandigarh airport has already been closed down and the MI team won’t be heading to the venue for their next match. As far as the match is concerned, hosts Kolkata were in total control of the match. They first scored 179 in their stipulated 20 overs, and then reduced the opposition to only 60/5 at one stage.
