Mumbai Indians (MI) bowler Trent Boult has continued his golden form with the ball in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The match between the two teams is underway at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
After posting a massive total of 217 runs on the board, the Mumbai Indians have started the second innings on high. One of the key reasons behind that has been the left-arm pacer Trent Boult, who has bowled incredible lines and lengths with the new ball.
Trent Boult, in the second over of the innings, was hit for two sixes by Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. The opening batter hit sixes on the first ball and then on the third delivery, but the reply from the fast bowler was magnificent.
On the fourth ball of the over, Trent Boult pulled back the length, and Yashasvi Jaiswal was eager to hit it again. The pacer bowled a 139.6k good-length ball, and the batter attempted to hack it across the line. He missed the ball completely as it went on to make a mess of the stumps.
What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Trent Boult after he removed Yashasvi Jaiswal. The pacer doesn’t celebrate his wicket usually, but this time around, he looked fired up and came up with a send-off to the batter.
