Bollywood actress Khushi Mukherjee has landed in controversy after her remarks on India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav. According to reports, Mumbai-based social media influencer Faizan Ansari has reportedly filed a ₹100 crore defamation case against the actress, bringing further attention to the controversy.
In an interview with Kiddan.com last month, Khushi said that Suryakumar Yadav used to send messages to her in the past. After the remarks went viral, Mukherjee addressed the issue again in an interview with News24, where she clarified that they were only good friends and denied having any romantic relationship.
₹100 Crore Defamation Case Filed Against Khushi Mukherjee Over Comments on Suryakumar Yadav
According to a report by The Times of India, Faizan Ansari filed a complaint against Khushi Mukherjee at the Ghazipur police station, accusing her of damaging the image of Suryakumar Yadav.
In a video of a media interaction posted on his X account, Ansari stated that Mukherjee’s allegations were false. He added that this was the reason he travelled to Ghazipur to lodge an FIR.
“I know her very well. She stays in Mumbai. She has wrongly accused Suryakumar Yadav, who is the pride of India, Uttar Pradesh, and Ghazipur. The truth is that even Suryakumar’s watchman doesn’t know Khushi Mukherjee. That is why I have come to Ghazipur today to file an FIR,” Ansari said.
I Am Ready to Face the Legal Proceedings – Faizan Ansari
Faizan Ansari also said that Khushi Mukherjee should face strict punishment, calling for a jail term of at least seven years. Ansari said that he is willing to face legal action himself if she can prove her claims.
“If Khushi Mukherjee proves her claims, I am ready to face the legal proceedings. She is spreading lies that Suryakumar Yadav used to message her on WhatsApp. This is a publicity stunt.” he stated.
