The five-time IPL title-winning team, the Mumbai Indians, have announced their final retained squad and will enter the mini-auction with the lowest purse in the history of the IPL. MI has made some interesting trades ahead of the mini-auction and is not looking forward to any further revamp.
The Mumbai Indians, one of the most well-known franchises in the history of the IPL, reached Qualifier 2 of the last season and impressed with their revamped squad. They looked settled with just a few loopholes, which they probably fixed with trades in the pre-season.
Mumbai Indians Retained Players
The Mumbai Indians did not show any surprise with their retained players, except for a few like Robin Minz, who, despite opportunities, could not manifest much. They have also kept faith in their overseas options, Mitchell Santner, Will Jacks, and Corbin Bosch, who played the last season.

Mumbai Indians Released Players
The players released have also not been very shocking from the MI end, as they have only parted with players who did not play much of a role for them last season. Among the players released, only Karn Sharma, Vignesh Puthur, and S Raja were among the players who featured in multiple games in the previous edition.
